RAPID INTERVENTION TEAMS(Oct 25-27): This course is a must have for all firefighters! This intense three day course provides students with the solid foundation and skills set needed to work as a member of a rapid intervention team on the fireground.
COMMANDING RIT OPERATIONS (Oct 27): This 1 day course covers the basics of commanding rapid intervention team operations. After a morning lecture on RIT students will Command multiple incidents acting as the IC or Rescue Sector during actual RIT deployment operations.
RIT TRAIN THE TRAINER (Oct 25-29): This is the most comprehensive course and instructional package available for developing, training and implementing a fire department Rapid Intervention Team
program. On days one, two and three, all students participate in FDTN’s intense three-day Rapid Intervention Team program with special emphasis on teaching the skills. Days four and five are spent preparing to deliver the complete program to the student’s department. The course provides a complete Instructor Manual and accompanying resources for delivery back home.
