FIREGROUND SEARCH OPERATIONS (Sept 13-15): This 3-day course is dedicated to searching the fireground. A morning lecture identifies the basics of fireground search, including search size-up, search techniques, tools, thermal imaging, residential search, commercial search and VES operations. Hands-on skill stations are conducted under increasingly realistic conditions, to build a solid understanding of fireground search — both strategy and the tactics.
